”It’s time to Dig Deep” said Sir Walter Wombat is handpainted in cobalt on the base.
Approx 27cm tall.
All Slipware sculptures are handpainted by Ruth and are unique one-off artworks- your piece will differ slightly than the pictures here as each statue is made individually. All Ruth’s slipware features her signature polka dots somewhere and somehow. This sculptural slipware range is intended to be lighthearted and irreverent and enjoyed for it’s juxtaposition of beauty and bawdy.

Made in the Gallery of Good
All of Ruth’s ceramics are made with LOVE in her purpose built studio, The Gallery of Good, on the lands of the GunaiKurnai peoples, in the Strzelecki ranges joust outside of Trafalgar in West Gippsland, Victoria, AUSTRALIA.
Every piece is intended to bring joy and as a reminder of the importance of love; hence why Ruth uses a love heart in her makers mark on the bottom of each piece and you will often see love hearts used decoratively across her work.
